1. Pakistan Army and Pakistan Rangers (PR) have absolutely no role in the electoral process. They are not responsible for handling and transportation of election material etc.
2. Primary responsibility of security rests with police and civil administration. PR will remain second tier and Army as third tier responder. No troops are deployed inside polling stations at all.
3. PR will not be responsible to address any electoral anomaly. All complaints will be addressed by civil administration and ECP. Security apparatus comprising PR and Army will have no authority or role in it.
