“I will keep Pakistan flag high:” Munir Shad

RIYADH: Mian Muhammad Tariq Junaid, the renowned Pakistani business tycoon and CEO of Burj Junaid Trading & Contracting Company (Pvt) Ltd., recently hosted a grand gala dinner in honour of Munir Ahmed Shad, CEO of TN Media News and President of the Pakistani Executive Forum International.
Mian Junaid, who has been based in Riyadh for the past three decades and serves as the General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) in Saudi Arabia, organized the banquet to congratulate Munir Shad on his appointment as the Tourism Ambassador for the Central Region by the Tourism Department of the Government of Punjab, Pakistan.
During the event, Mian Junaid expressed his appreciation for Munir Shad’s dedication and selfless service to journalism in Saudi Arabia. “Munir Shad’s personal efforts and his unwavering journalistic approach in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have rightfully been acknowledged. His contributions to the community and his exceptional work deserve this recognition,” Mian Junaid remarked. He further commended Munir Shad for his active role in the Pakistani Executive Forum and noted his enthusiasm and remarkable dedication.
Mian Junaid wished Munir Shad all the best in his new role as Tourism Ambassador for the Central Region, expressing confidence that Shad’s sociable personality and professionalism would serve the region well. “A person like Munir Shad, with his exemplary manners and approach, will undoubtedly contribute positively to tourism in the region. His efforts should not only be supported, but also widely celebrated,” he added.
Reiterating his support for Munir Shad, Mian Junaid assured him of the full backing of the PML-N, stating, “You have our party’s full support as you engage in such important tourism initiatives.”
In his remarks, Munir Shad thanked Mian Junaid and the esteemed guests for the honour, stating that the recognition was not just for him, but for the pride of Pakistan and its people. “I will continue to raise the flag of our country high, representing Pakistan with integrity and pride,” he said.
The gala dinner was attended by several dignitaries, including Chaudhry Abdul Qayyum King, President of the Cultural Wing in the Riyadh Region; Rana Tariq Mahmood, Additional Secretary-General; Rana Sultan Mahmood, District President of Hay Al-Wazarat; and many others.
The event was a significant gathering to celebrate Munir Shad’s new role and acknowledge his dedication to both journalism and the broader Pakistani community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
