Defence and Martyr Day of Pakistan

Pakistan Embassy Niger celebrated Defence Day with simplicity amid floods. In view of the ongoing flood situation in Pakistan and Niger, Pakistan Embassy Niger cancelled all celebrations of Pakistan’s Defence and Martyre Day. In solidarity with flood affected population in Niger, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Ambassador of Pakistan visited various flood-affected areas in the vicinity of the capital city Niamey and distributed cooked food packets among the flood affectees. The people thanked the Ambassador of Pakistan for gênerious food assistance.

While talking to flood affectees, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Ambassador of Pakistan to Niger informed that he knows their difficulties due to the flood. He further informed that his country Pakistan is also facing deadly flooding from an unprecedented monsoon season, It has destroyed lives, livelihoods and infrastructure, in a serious climate catastrophe. The Ambassador of Pakistan assured that Pakistan Embassy would keep its support continuing for the flood affectees in Niger.
