Honorary doctorate degree for Fayyaz Mahmood, Advisor to Saudi Government.
Fayyaz Mahmoud, an adviser to the Saudi government, was awarded an honorary PhD by the Royal American University of the United States in recognition of his services to the community. The award ceremony was held in Toronto, Canada. Speaking at the event, Ms. Kishwar Sultana, university representative, said that her university acknowledges prominent community workers to inspire them to do a great service to the community.
Dr. Kishwar Sultana explained a Selection Committee consisting of Council members and community leaders reviews each nomination and selects the recipients of the degree. She said her university recognized the service of Dr. Fayyaz Mahmood to the community, through his volunteerism which has contributed to nurturing and enhancing education.
Dr. Kishwar Sultana said that Fayyaz Mahmood has made an outstanding contribution in Canada, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, doing selfless work in the field of education. Dr. Fayyaz Mahmood said that he worked for the welfare of society with human passion. He thanked Tony Javed, Dr. Kishwar Sultana and the management of Royal American University for recognizing and rewarding his contributions toward community work.
