Hyundai Motor Company has marked a major milestone by producing 100 million vehicles worldwide. To celebrate, it launched the ‘One Step Further’ exhibition at Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul, honoring the people behind its success and thanking loyal customers.
The celebration follows the delivery of Hyundai’s 100 millionth vehicle—an IONIQ 5—at its Ulsan Plant on September 30. This special delivery symbolizes Hyundai’s appreciation for its customers’ support over the years.
Sungwon Jee, Hyundai’s Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the teamwork behind this achievement. He noted the countless parts and efforts from R&D, design, and manufacturing teams that made this milestone possible. The exhibition tells the story of Hyundai’s evolution from a traditional automaker to a leader in smart mobility solutions.
Exhibition Highlights Hyundai’s Legacy
The multi-floor exhibition guides visitors through Hyundai’s history, starting with early models like the Cortina Mark 2 and the Pony, Hyundai’s first independently developed vehicle.
It showcases key production milestones and iconic cars that helped reach 100 million units, including the first-generation SONATA, ELANTRA, and Scoupe. These models reflect Hyundai’s focus on design, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Looking to the Future
The exhibit’s upper floors feature Hyundai’s latest SUVs such as the SANTA FE, KONA, and INSTER, alongside electric vehicles like the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 5 N, and IONIQ 6. These displays highlight Hyundai’s shift toward smart, sustainable mobility.
Running from October 10 to November 10, the ‘One Step Further’ exhibition offers free admission. It provides visitors with a unique chance to explore Hyundai’s remarkable journey and its vision for the future of transportation.
