TruBuild Raises $1 Million Seed Round to Advance AI-Powered Construction Tech.

by: TN Media News: TruBuild, a Saudi-based AI construction technology startup, has successfully raised $1 million in seed funding to enhance its platform aimed at preventing cost overruns and delays in construction projects.

The round was led by Wa’ed Ventures, the $500 million VC arm of Saudi Aramco, along with Dar Ventures, Plug & Play Ventures, OQAL, Taz Investment, and strategic angel investors including Simon Moon, former CEO of Atkins Middle East. TruBuild had also previously received early-stage backing from Antler MENAP.

The funding will accelerate TruBuild’s growth across Saudi Arabia and into international markets, strengthening its AI-driven platform that analyzes project data in real-time to identify risks and improve decision-making.

CEO Bisrat Degefa emphasized that TruBuild aims to create a more transparent and predictable construction process, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The startup is already collaborating with key players like Osool Real Estate Company to integrate AI into digital project delivery strategies.

The investment will support team expansion and platform development as TruBuild positions itself to tackle one of the construction industry’s most pressing challenges global cost overruns exceeding $1.6 trillion annually.
