Doha, Qatar: A delegation of overseas Pakistanis, led by Mr. Kashif Raheem, President of the Pakistani Executive Forum (PEF) Qatar and former Executive Member of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), met with His Excellency Mr. Aamir, Ambassador of Pakistan to the State of Qatar, to discuss matters concerning the welfare, professional development, and future opportunities for the Pakistani community in Qatar and across the GCC.
The meeting focused on the Embassy’s ongoing initiatives to facilitate the recognition of professional qualifications, including FCPS and Chartered Accountancy credentials, aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for Pakistani professionals and skilled workers throughout the Gulf region.
The delegation also expressed its appreciation for the Ambassador’s leadership and his continued support for the Pakistani community, particularly during recent regional developments and challenges.
The delegation included Mr. Mudasar, Mr. Fawad Afridi, Mr. Shuaib, Mr. Mubashir Nadeem, and Mr. Qasim Ali, who highlighted the growing educational needs of Pakistani families residing in Qatar. They proposed exploring collaboration with a reputable Pakistani university to provide greater access to quality higher education for the community.
Welcoming the delegation’s constructive recommendations, Ambassador Aamir reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to maintaining close engagement with the Pakistani diaspora and supporting initiatives that promote education, professional growth, and economic opportunities for Pakistanis living in Qatar and the wider GCC region.
The meeting reflected a shared commitment between the Embassy of Pakistan and the Pakistani Executive Forum Qatar to strengthening community engagement, expanding professional opportunities, and fostering long-term collaboration for the benefit of overseas Pakistanis.
