Sialkot International Airport Signs Strategic MOU with Qapsis Aviation Türkiye to Modernize Aviation Infrastructure.

Sialkot-Istanbul: Sialkot International Airport (Private) Limited (SIAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Qapsis Aviation Türkiye, facilitated by Supreme Technocrafts Aviation Services (STAS), marking a significant step toward advancing Pakistan’s aviation infrastructure and strengthening international collaboration.

The partnership aims to modernize airport facilities through technological innovation, enhanced IT infrastructure, aircraft teardown operations, structural reforms, and the development of a dedicated cargo and charter hub to improve connectivity between Pakistan and Europe.

Initial discussions leading to the agreement were held in Istanbul, Türkiye, and were attended by Mr. Hassan Ali Bhatti, Chairman of Sialkot International Airport, and Mr. Noman Waseem, CEO of Supreme Technocrafts Aviation Services.

Representing Qapsis Aviation Türkiye, CEO Ms. Busra Nur, Mr. Hakan, and representatives of partner organizations expressed strong confidence in Pakistan’s aviation sector and announced plans to establish Qapsis Aviation’s presence in Pakistan in the near future.

A key component of the collaboration is the proposed establishment of a Teknopark, which will facilitate the transfer of advanced aviation technologies, promote innovation, and strengthen technical cooperation between the Turkish and Pakistani aviation industries.

During the MOU signing ceremony, Mr. Syed Ahtesham Mazhar, President of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), joined virtually and reaffirmed the Chamber’s full support for the initiative and its future development activities.

This strategic collaboration is expected to play a vital role in enhancing Pakistan’s aviation capabilities, attracting investment, expanding cargo and charter services, and fostering long-term economic and technological cooperation between Pakistan and Türkiye.
