The Kingdom of Bahrain recently held its first hands-on training in Laser Proctology at Sulaimania Hospital. This important workshop was organized with Lasotronix Poland and Pure Life Support Bahrain. Doctors from Sulaimania Hospital and Royal Defense Forces Hospital attended to improve their skills in treating lower rectum and anus conditions using laser technology.
What is Laser Proctology?
Laser proctology uses high-energy lasers to treat affected tissues precisely. This method is minimally invasive. Therefore, patients recover faster and experience fewer complications compared to traditional surgery.
Training by Expert Dr. Arshad Khan
Dr. Arshad Khan, a leading laser proctology specialist from Saudi Arabia, was invited as the master trainer. He conducted live surgeries during the workshop. Dr. Khan explained how laser surgery is better than conventional methods in many ways.
Positive Feedback and Future Plans
Doctors who attended praised the training. They also requested more workshops and conferences on laser proctology in the future. Mr. Ebrahim from Pure Life Support mentioned that laser technology is useful in many fields, such as vascular surgery, pain management, and dental surgery.
