“Bahrain Hosts Inaugural Laser Proctology Training, Featuring Pioneering Techniques by Dr. Arshad Khan
The Kingdom of Bahrain recently conducted its first-ever hands-on training on Laser Proctology at Sulaimania Hospital, in collaboration with Lasotronix Poland and Pure Life Support Bahrain, a distributor of laser machinery. The workshop was attended by doctors from Sulaimania Hospital and Royal Defense Forces Hospital, aiming to enhance skills in the treatment of lower rectum and anus conditions through laser ablation.
Laser proctology, utilizing high-energy lasers for precise tissue treatment, offers minimally invasive procedures with short recovery times and minimal complications. Dr. Khan, a pioneer in laser proctology from Saudi Arabia, was invited by the Ministry of Health Bahrain as a master trainer, conducting live surgeries and emphasizing the benefits of laser surgery over traditional methods.
The event received positive feedback from attending doctors, with requests for future workshops and conferences on laser proctology. Mr. Ebrahim from Pure Life Support highlighted the broader applications of lasers in vascular surgery, pain management, and dental surgery.
