Korangi Chamber of Industry and Trade, the largest industrial zone of Karachi, has started a communication campaign against expensive electricity and load shedding. Kati President Farazur Rehman started the campaign by meeting the Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority, Zubair Motiwala. Karachi (Staff Reporter) During a one-to-one meeting with Zubair Motiwala at the House of Industry and Trade, Korangi (Kati), Farazur Rahman drew the attention of the Chief Executive of T-Deep to the rising electricity bills and worst load shedding, saying that the industrial zone of Karachi The situation is not better, bearing the electricity bills has become unbearable for the industrialists, the situation has become so dire that the industrialists are forced to downsizing to bear the costs which is causing rise in unemployment in the inflationary storm. But what can we do and there is no way, if the government does not take steps on electricity bills and load shedding, there is a fear that the industries will be closed, said Zubair Motiwala, chief executive of T-Dep, agreeing with all the concerns. That they will discuss this issue with the caretaker government soon, there is no provision that everyone is worried due to power crisis and over-billing from Karachi to Khyber, however we have to continue our business anyway. First of all, Pakistan’s thinking has to be made public. We should focus on exports for which I am ready to encourage manufacturers who want to import and work on technology transfer, youth need to be engaged in export business through SMEs. For this purpose it is necessary to start startup classes.
