RCA President Mr. Tariq Javed (Former International Player) along with CEO RCA Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar (Former captain of Saudi Arabia) held a meeting on 5th November 2023 in Riyadh with director of Saudi cricket development and coach, former international cricketer from Pakistan Mr. Kabir Khan.
The main agenda of the meeting was to decide on the structure of Saudi domestic cricket and the way forward for the development of cricket. It was a very fruitful meeting as Mr. Kabir Khan explained in details the plans of Saudi Cricket Federation for the development of cricket in the kingdom.
He also assured that Saudi Cricket Federation will provide all the possible support to all its affiliated associations for the development of cricket. At the same time he thanked CEO RCA Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar for his dedication and commitment and unconditional support for the development of cricket in the kingdom.
Mr. Kabir Khan also appreciated the work done by RCA executive committee for their excellent work and organization of cricket in a much disciplined manner.
Speaking to the media after the meeting RCA President Mr. Tariq Javed said that with the vision and efforts of Mr. Kabir Khan with the help of Saudi Cricket Federation, he really believes that cricket will improve drastically in the kingdom and soon International cricket will be played in the kingdom.
He also appreciated the efforts of Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar for his tireless work for the development of cricket.
Speaking to the media Mr. Kabir Khan highlighted the significance of the meeting. He said that he would love to have experienced people like Mr. Tariq Javed and Mr. Mohammad Nadeem Babar in his team as their experience is a blessing and right for the development of the cricket in the kingdom.
