Irfan, named Pakistan’s new press consular in Jeddah.

Jeddah-(Syed Mussarat Khalil) Choudhry Mohammed Irfan, Director Media of the Ministry of Information, has been named new consul (press) at his country’s consulate Jeddah. Irfan will replace Syed Hamza Gilani, who is returning home after completing his tenure here.

Upon arrival in Jeddah to resume his duties, the newly appointed Press Consul thanked the Government of Pakistan, Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, Information Secretary Zahoor Ahmed and other officers of the Ministry of Information to given the opportunity to serve Pakistan.

Irfan said he will use all his experience and energy to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries through local media and journalists representing Pakistani newspapers and electronic media in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking on his appointment the media representatives have expressed their happiness and said that the new Consul Press Muhammad Irfan will have our full support in all his positive initiatives.

Chaudhry Muhammad Irfan, has received higher education from America and Malaysia, while he has been performing various services in the Ministry of Information, Islamabad. His appointment as the Press Consul in Saudi Arabia will boost Saudi media cooperation.
