Mohammad Wasim out, Hasan Ali included in Pakistan’s Asia Cup squad!

Few days left and Pakistan has been hit with another fast bowler injury as Mohammad Wasim has been ruled out, making way for Hasan Ali to get the chance. Wasim picked up a side strain and he is released from the squad he will be out for the next three weeks.  Wasim complained of back pain during the practice session in Dubai on Thursday and was taken for an MRI scan.

Hassan Ali was originally dropped from the Asia Cup due to his poor form and he is lucky to get the chance ahead of other youngsters but as the pace attack will need experience as the main bowler Shaheen Afridi is already ruled out so will be key to being part of the team. Pakistan takes on their Asia Cup 2022 campaign with the most important team of the tournament and that is India.

It will be interesting how the team goes about as Babar Azam wanted to have Hassan Ali in the squad before the team was announced for the Asia Cup and now that he is part of it, which means that Babar Azam and the team need to make sure they play their best XI to give a strong message to the team in the tournament.
