Members of PDM gathering in Riyadh to celebrate the victory of Shahbaz Sharif for being selected as a PM, hosted by Mahmood Ul Haq Dogar

RIYADH: Pakistan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, strode for a new horizon.
A new journey has begun and the days are not far away when the economic crises, created by the former government of Imran Khan, will vanish from Pakistan.
Speaking an iftar-dinner party, hosted by Mahmood Ul Haq Dogar, well-known businessman and a Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to celebrate the victory (as a token of thanks) of Shahbaz Sharif as the 23rd prime minister of Pakistan, after defeating Imran Khan, the former prime minister, in a vote of no-confidence motion on April 10, 2022.

Expressing his views on the steps taken by Shahbaz Sharif, on the first day of his speech as 23rd prime minister of Pakistan in the Parliament, to overcome the economic crises, petrol prices as well hike in prices in general items. Criticizing the policies adopted by former premier Imran Khan, Dogar vowed to stand by Shahbaz Sharif in any circumstances by saying: “The tenure of Imran Khan’s government was one of the bad examples of governance as the life of the general public became worst.”

He said: “Our premier doesn’t believe in vengeance but we request Shahbaz Sharif to put the culprits behind bars.” A large gathering of people, businessmen, and members of PDM, an alliance of political parties in Pakistan, were also present to celebrate the victory. Coordinator Gulf Region Sheikh Saeed of PML (N), Chaudhary Abdul Majeed Gujjar, Dr Mahmood Bajwa, Ameen Tajir, Chaudhary Sajjad Ali, Adnan Butt, Tariq Junaid, Haji Sajid,

Zaheer Ahmed Mughal, Dr Tariq Aziz Sheikh, Zaraar, Aslam Rahi, Aslam Ishaque and Mian Iqbal were representing PML (N). Members of Pakistan People’s Party Qazi Ishaque Memon, Riyaz Rathore, Waseem Sajid (vice-president Gulf Region) Rana Adeel Ehtishaam, Javed Kohli and Ijaz Raheem were also present.


Qari Aziz-ur-Rahman of JUI was also at the meeting along with other members of the JUI while Zahoor Khan of ANP and Hafiz Abdul Waheed, Rana Abdul Rauf, Rana Umer Farooq and Sarwar Khan were representing Majlis Pakistan. Faisal Alvi of Ehle Hadeeth and community members also attended the dinner.

Munir Ahmad Shad, President of Pakistani Executive Forum & CEO of TN Media News has also attended the gathering and expressed good wishes for Pakistan and prayed that the alliance of PDM will remain to continue hoping that the country will develop under the leadership of Premier Shahbaz Sharif. Rana Umer Farooq of Majlis Pakistan delivered a spiritual speech to solemnize the victory celebration before the audience and pray for the strengthening and bright future of the country
