Advisor Ehsanur Rehman Mazari Chairs Hyderabad Division Cooperative Department Meeting.

Karachi (Report:) A performance review meeting of the Cooperative Department, Hyderabad Division, was chaired by Ehsan-ur-Rehman Mazari, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Inter-Provincial Coordination and the Cooperative Department. The meeting took place on Wednesday, October 2, at the Sindh Secretariat.

The session was attended by prominent officials, including Parliamentary Secretary for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Cooperative Department Khairunissa Mughal, Registrar Karachi Wajid Sheikh, Deputy Registrar Hyderabad Division Sajid Ali, and other relevant officers.

The discussion focused on several key matters related to cooperative societies, emphasizing the need for transparency in the electoral processes of these societies. The resolution of pending election cases and external interference by influential figures in society affairs were also addressed. The department presented statistics on complaints received and resolved, reflecting its ongoing efforts to improve governance.

One of the significant outcomes of the meeting was the formation of a three-member committee tasked with overseeing the management of cooperative societies. Deputy Registrar Sajid Ali assured that a comprehensive report on unresolved issues would be submitted shortly.

Assistant Registrars from Hyderabad regions, including Ali Haider Abro, Abdul Qadir Soomro, Abdul Rahman Soomro, and Muhammad Saleem Chishti, also participated in the meeting, offering updates on their respective regions.

The review meeting aimed at enhancing the overall performance and transparency of the Cooperative Department, ensuring that all cooperative societies operate in compliance with departmental regulations.
