Memon Welfare Society-MASA and Memon Youth Development Forum- MYDF jointly organized the first Memon Talent Show in Jeddah Saudi Arabia at Attaullah Happy land Park Auditorium.
According to the report of Siraj Adamjee, in the “Talent Show,” more than 200 people from Memon families participated. Children and women of the Memon community were selected for the finals of this Memon talent show in various categories including recitation, natiya kalam, speech competition in Urdu, English, and Memon as well as poetry, comedy, martial arts and cooking competitions. There was tough competition among the shortlisted candidates in all the categories for which a neutral judge was hired for the decisions.
The special guest of the program, Mr. Habib Al-Kawsar, a well-known Saudi personality, praised the officials of the show for bringing out the hidden talent in the Memon community and organizing this successful event. Mr. Waseem Abdul Razzaq Tai, President of MASA welcomed all the guests and appreciated the generous support of MASA Ladies Wings for the cooking competition of the event and hinted at upcoming programs for the youth by MASA.
MYDF founder member Sadiq Surathia introduced its other founder members who have been organizing various successful physical and educational events for the youth of the Memon community for the past 3 years.
Siraj Lala hosted the talent show and thanked the MASA Volunteers team for providing their services for the event. At the end of the ceremony, trophies were presented to the winning candidates and gifts and certificates of appreciation to all other participating candidates. The chief guest and all the judges were also awarded gifts.
