KUWAIT: The President of the NAYMET Trust Mr. Shahid Iqbal organized a wonderful introductory and informative ceremony for the kind information of the Pakistani Ambassador His Excellency at Al Hamra Hotel. Executive members of NAYMET along with the heads of the Pakistani community residing in Kuwait attended the event.
President in his speech explained and elucidated to His Excellency & the other worthy attendees that the Trust was established in Pakistan in 2002. NAYMET Trust holistically focuses on humanity, irrespective of religion, colour, caste, and creed and the Trust is a non-government, non-profit, non-political organization working round the clock with full zeal and zest duly punctuated with immense delectation for Social and Economic uplift and grooming the neglected, oppressed communities both in urban & semi-urban areas of Pakistan.
It is putting in all-out and wholehearted efforts with complete devotion tinged with whole-hearted dedication for immediate and lasting improvements in the lives of the marooned people who are poverty and disaster-stricken. Trust has also embarked upon educating and enlightening deserving people, empowering womenfolk, imparting vocational training, providing health services, distributing food, and advancing community development projects.
NAYMET very strongly believes and vehemently professes in all practical terms for the empowerment of the workforce and carrying out social changes which can see the light only with the effective and efficient participation of marginalized communities of the society. Pakistan ambassador in his address was full of praise and very much admired the noblest and humanitarian gesture of NAYMET and he prayed that the trust succeeds in its celebrated, illustrious, and remarkable noblest endeavours.
Ambassador was very much impressed and pleased to know that Mr. Shahid is so assiduously diligently and sedulously pursuing the nobility initiated by his father in fluttering NAYMENT flag atop. Ambassador very confidentially concluded by saying that the Pakistani community, as always, will show beneficence, largess, open-handedness generosity to contribute towards the noblest cause.
It is a matter of great pride for NAYMET to know that Kuwaiti trustees namely Mr. Khalid Abu Sultan and Abu Essa very kindly graced the event with their presence. They are pioneers of the Trust and donated a good amount to undertake different projects like water wells, Islamic Education, and Tanfeez ul Quran in the Urban Areas, Health Care Centers, Medical camps, Micro Finance in Sindh, etc.
Delicious and mouth-watering dishes were served while light music played in the background. The function was covered by VOOP Media (Voice of Overseas Community) serving in Kuwait since 2011.
