Jeddah-Memon Leadership Forum (MLF) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Chapter organized a grand dinner at a local restaurant to honour well-known entrepreneurs, social workers and President MLF (Global) Abdul Rahim Janoo and Mrs. Abdul Rahim Janoo. In which distinguished personalities of Saudi and other communities participated. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Rana Shaukat Ali, MLF Advisory Council member. Naat-e Rasool-e-Maqbool (peace be upon him) was presented by Furqan Edhi of Youth Wing.
Siraj Adamji, chairman of MLF and moderator of the event, welcomed all the guests. He thanked President MLF (Global) Abdul Rahim Janoo and Mrs. Abdul Rahim Janoo for participating in the ceremony and congratulated them on their visit to Makkah and performed Umrah. He highlighted the aims and objectives of MLF and announced that in today’s ceremony, First Lady Begum Abdul Rahim Janoo is inaugurating the ladies’ wing in the women’s corner. He also announced to the enthusiastic applause of the audience that today we would also perform a cake cutting ceremony as an expression of solidarity in celebration of the 91st National Day of our host country Saudi Arabia. After that, the national anthem of Saudi Arabia was played. Whom everyone stood up and listened to with utmost politeness and respect.
MLF President Younis Habib introduced the chief guest Abdul Rahim Janoo and paid tribute to his social services. He expressed his happiness on opening Ladies Wing (LW) Renowned poet Athar Abbasi presented a poem on Saudi National Day, which was liked by the audience. Member MLF Advisory Council Sheikh Ahmed Farooqui highlighted the Saudi Vision 2030 and praised the recent changes. Saudi journalist Hassan Ali Jabali expressed his views in Arabic and appreciated Siraj Adamji’s efforts.
Chief guest Rahim Janoo in his speech thanked Jeddah Chapter for organizing the event in his honour. He said that MLF will play an essential role in the Saudi economy in due course. He said that charity is a great service and Allah selects His special servants for such works and it is not necessary to have wealth. He expressed his determination that the MLF team should do welfare work. Kashmiri shawls were presented to the guests during the ceremony. Chairman Siraj Adamji and President Younis Al Habib thanked all the members of the MLF Saudia Chapter, including Younus Omer (GS), Munaf a Ghaffar (VP), A. Rauf Junjunnia (VP), Ismail Mendha (VC), Kabir Memon (VC), Tariq Madani (Board Member) Sohail Vakani (Board). Advisory Council Member Rana Shaukat Ali, Israr Khan, Sheikh Ahmed Farooqui, Mirza Afaq Baig, MAM RAUZ Kadeerya. Youth Wing members Furqan Edhi, Mohammed Anas Palla, Raees Patel, and all members of the ladies’ wing for their cooperation and for making the event a success.
Later, Abdul Rahim Janoo and all the participants cut a solidarity cake celebrating the 91st Arab National Day. The event ended with a sumptuous dinner.
