Under the auspicious of Consulate General of Pakistan Jeddah the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) conducted awareness seminar in Lasani restaurant Madinah Road Jeddah. Rector (NUST) Lieutenant General Javed Mahmood Bukhari (Retired) presided over the event while Pakistan Consul General Khalid Majid was the chief guest. The key note speakers were Maria Fatima Qadri, Director (NUST), and Air vice Marshal, Dr Rizwan Riaz SI(M.) Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation & Commercialization at the (NUST). The function started with the recitation and translation of a few versed from the Qur’an, 
While addressing the event, consul general Pakistan Khalid Majid extended a very warm welcome on behalf consulate, community and personal to the entire NUST team and distinguished guests.
He said infect it is deeply honored and privileged to host the top management and top university of Pakistan. He said NUST is one of the top 100 ranking university in Asia and 350th university in the world. It is a great collectively honor and pride for all of us that an institution achieved such a great land mark, and hope in the near future NUST will be make it marks global level and soon it will be top 100 university in the world.
The consul General further said that the community here is out-standing. We host largest Pakistan Diaspora out-side from Pakistan heading various back-ground. They are very motivated, hardworking, and very patriotic. They have contributed immense in the social economic development for both the country alike. We are proud of our community here. The consul general wished all the best and successes for the NUST Team and assured them his support and full support & cooperation from community,

Dr Rizwan Riaz, Air vice Marshal SI (M) Pro-Rector for Research, Innovation & Commercialization at the (NUST) explain all activities related to research, innovation and commercialization at NUST.
