The Government of Gilgit-Baltistan and Rupani Foundation organized the first-ever impact investment conference in Dubai on 24th February 2022. The prime objective is to bring in Investors, companies and firms, and the Pakistani diaspora living abroad to invest in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

The event was spearheaded by the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Mr. Khalid Khurshid Khan along with the senior Minister, minister, parliamentary secretaries, Government officials, and private sector investors.
Pakistani Executive Forum (PEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan (GoGB).
This Memorandum sets out a joint commitment and a basis of collaboration to support the economic development of the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan through bringing in investments in diverse potential which includes but is not limited to Tourism & Hospitality, Renewable Energy, Agro-Business & Value Chain, Technology, Trade & Commerce, Gem & Jewelry, Mineral & Mines and others
PEF Gilgit-Baltistan and PEF UAE Chapter will come up with strategies and a roadmap for furthering the process of investment in Gilgit-Baltistan in close coordination with GB Invest (Rupani Foundation) team, based in Gilgit along with the policy facilitation from Gilgit-Baltistan Government.

PEF Gilgit-Baltistan chapter will facilitate PEF Chapters across the globe in terms of processes, policies, coordination with Government and other relevant stakeholders, information and advisory as needed.
