Saudi National Day Celebrated by Pakistani Consulate and Community in Jeddah: A Grand Display of Brotherhood.

Jeddah (From Noorulhassan Gujjar): In a vibrant celebration of the national days of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, in collaboration with the Pakistan Investors Forum, hosted a joint event at a prestigious banquet hall. The gathering aimed to strengthen the enduring ties between the two nations and highlight their shared cultural and social values.

The event drew high-profile diplomats, prominent Pakistani and Saudi entrepreneurs, members of the Pakistani and Saudi communities, and representatives from both Saudi and ethnic media outlets.

The proceedings began with the national anthems of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. An art exhibition, showcasing works by Pakistani and Saudi artists, provided attendees with a unique glimpse into the shared cultural and artistic heritage of the two nations.

In his address, Pakistan’s Consul General, Mr. Khalid Majid, emphasized the role of art and culture in diplomacy. He remarked on the unparalleled strength of the bilateral relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, citing the deep-rooted religious, cultural, and socio-economic ties that form the foundation of their brotherly bond. He further commended the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their pivotal role in fostering peace and stability in the region and beyond.

Mr. Shafqat Chaudhary, Chairman of the Pakistan Investors Forum, also spoke at the event, highlighting the contributions of the Pakistani business community to Saudi Arabia’s economic development. He praised the visionary leadership of the Kingdom for its support and forward-thinking policies in driving the socio-economic progress of Saudi Arabia.

The celebration was enriched by captivating cultural performances from Pakistani and Saudi singers, as well as performances by schoolchildren, which further illustrated the deep cultural connections between the two countries. The event concluded with a grand cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the unity and brotherhood shared by the two nations.
