Muhammadi Welfare Foundation and Baqai Medical University Launch Healthcare Initiatives.

The Muhammadi Welfare Foundation has announced an ambitious plan to improve healthcare services in partnership with Baqai Medical University. The project includes a state-of-the-art blood bank, a dedicated thalassemia center, and a thalassemia prevention program.

Bringing Better Healthcare to Gadab Town

This phased initiative focuses on serving Gadab Town and nearby suburban areas. The new facilities will provide safe blood transfusions to the community, free from any profit motive.

Thalassemia patients will receive free treatment and blood transfusion services. This reflects the foundation’s commitment to improving the lives of those affected by this genetic disorder.

Focus on Prevention and Education

The collaboration also aims to reduce thalassemia cases through prevention programs. These will include awareness campaigns, early screening, and education for the public.

Baqai Medical University will support this effort by offering diploma and certification courses in blood transfusion medicine. This will build skilled healthcare professionals and enhance the sector’s capabilities.
