After this win, the World Cup title has also been added to Messi’s illustrious career. Messi said that it is a great way to end a career in this way, but he also has Copa America and World Cup events ahead of him.

The Argentina captain further said that he loves football and is very happy to be a part of the national team. Before the football World Cup played in Qatar, Messi had said that this would be the last World Cup of his career, but he has now changed his decision.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni also commented on Messi’s decision, saying, “We have to keep Messi until the 2026 World Cup. If he wants to play more, he will be with us.” Scalloni hoped that Lionel Messi would be part of the Argentina team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
