Jeddah-Masood Ahmed Puri chairman of Kashmir Committee Jeddah praised OIC’s efforts in highlighting the Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination. On behalf of the Kashmir committee Jeddah chairman Masood Puri appreciated all efforts of OIC performing toward international platforms and magnified sacrifices of Kashmiris.
In a press statement on the occasion of the observance “Right to Self-Determination Day” he also praised the organization to come forward in extending support to the Kashmiri people and condemned Indian force’s atrocities on innocent and unarmed Kashmiris who demand their legitimate rights of self-determination.
Masood Ahmad Puri called upon the international community to break its deadly silence on the tragedy in Kashmir. It was 05 Jan 1949 when the UN passed a resolution supporting Kashmiri’s rights in Jammu and Kashmir to decide their future by themselves. Till now over 75 years passed of unresolved bloodshed battle of Kashmir for freedom from Indian brutalities.
After 5 August 2019 day by day, Jammu and Kashmir became a more miserable place on this planet after humiliating our brothers and sisters of Kashmir. Puri said we were all thankful to the newly arrived Pakistan’s Ambassador Permanent Representative-designate to OIC Jeddah, Syed Mohammad Fawad Sher to carry on and follow up on the resolution observed on 5th Jan 1949.
