REGC Defeated Al Momin by 5 wickets in the last league game of 100 Balls Al Kharjj Premier League organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).

In their last outings of the 100 ball tournament organized by RCA, REGC young dynamic team were against the Al Momin cc, Al Momin won the toss and elected to bat first, Good strategical approach by Skipper Kannan Gopi and Coach Azim as they open the innings with the pace at one end with Shehzad and Prasanth PK and other end using the fighter Abdullah Zaidi with his spin web to tie the batsmen which yielded results as both openers of Al Momin the Legend of RCA Nadeem Babar 14(12 balls) departed in 3 over by an excellent catch from Varun on the bowling of Prasanth and Rustam Ali 22(16)was stumped off the bowling of Abdullah Zaidi. Then Prasanth dismissed Salman through an excellent catch at covers by Coach Azim.
The young sensation of REGC Varun then applied pressure in middle overs unsettling the opposition batsmen and almost got a Hat -Trick getting rid of Arsalan and Imtiaz of 2 consecutive balls and Barkat was lucky to survive LBW on a hat-trick ball. Sauky and Shehzad bowl the best death overs to restrict the opposition to 158/7 in the allotted 16.4 overs.
REGC openers Majid Bashir 30(20) and Prasanth 48(22) started with a bang compiling 80 runs in 7 .1 overs before Majid Bashir chased a wide ball and was caught at the short third man of the bowling of Tayyub, who also got rid of dangerous Kannan 9(8) and Prasanth on similar wide deliveries which they chased and got out in covers and behind the wicket and then Barkat got rid of Bilal scorecard reading 94/4 in 9.1 over, Experience campaigner Azim 19(8) and Varun 32*(16) then took the attack as 66 were required in 44 balls and ran between the wickets hard and scoring the boundaries at will and making the target within reach as they compiled a valuable match-winning partnership of 50 runs in 24 balls and Mohammed Sauky 9*(9) added finishing touch with Varun to win comprehensively by 5 wickets in 14.2 overs.
Man of the match was awarded to Prasanth PK for All round impact of the game contributing 48(22 balls with 9 x4s) and Grabbing 2 wickets in 3.4 overs giving 36 runs.
