Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Cricket Tournament will be the final tournament for the season 2022-2023 and marks the closing of 43rd Season of RCA.

Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Cricket Tournament started on February 24, 2023, at RCA Sports Complex. T20 matches are being played in Alkharj League while T10 matches are being played across other leagues. The T10 format of cricket is the shortest form of cricket and promises to be exciting. This tournament marks the end of a successful season 43 of RCA during which RCA organized 4 different tournaments and provided the best quality cricket to its registered clubs.

The season started with the Tera Systems T20 tournament in which T20 matches were played in all the leagues. The second tournament was the SACF tournament in which 40 matches were played in the Alkharj League and T20 matches were played in the rest of leagues. The third tournament was the RCA winter challenge and again 40 overs matches were played in Alkharj League whereas T20 matches were played in the rest of leagues. The season’s final tournament is Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Cricket Tournament in which T20 matches will be played in Alkharj League whereas T10 matches will be played in other leagues.

RCA management is extremely thankful to its executive committee members who worked efficiently in conducting a successful season and special credit goes to CEO Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Babar, SVP Mr. Nasir Mehmood Abbasi, VP Mr. Aashique Mughal, JS Ishfaq Bhat, Media Coordinator Mr. Atif Amin, RCA executive committee member Mr. Muhammad Akram and other executive committee members who put all their efforts for the betterment of cricket.

The opening ceremony of Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser RCA T10 Cricket Tournament will be held in the RCA sports complex on March 17, 2023. CEO of Riyadh Cricket Association, former Saudi Arabian well-known all-rounder Mohammad Nadeem Babar will be the chief guest on this occasion.

RCA was formed in 1980 for organizing and promoting cricketing activities in Riyadh and the Central Region in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Since its formation, it has been successful in bringing cricket as a game of sport among the Saudis and Expatriates working in the region. Cricket has greatly benefited from the support of RCA Patron in Chief HRH General Dr. Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. RCA is also an affiliated member of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) and works efficiently under the astute leadership of CEO Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Babar, a former first-class cricketer and captain of the Saudi National cricket team.

RCA provides an adequate platform for Players to perform and players performing exceptionally are highlighted and get an opportunity to represent the Saudi National team. Many players from RCA have represented the national team in the recent past which clearly indicates the performance of RCA. RCA has also provided leadership talent to the national side as captains of the Saudi national team of the last couple of tournaments are from RCA.

A total of 52 teams are participating in this tournament. Alkharj league comprises of 10 teams distributed in 2 pools whereas 42 teams are divided into 2 different leagues. In Alkharj a total of 23 matches will be played and a total of 119 matches will be played in other leagues during this final tournament of Season 43.
