His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Niger was decorated best Ambassador of the year by a coalition of NGOs and humanitarian Associations. He received this decoration yesterday inside the Embassy on the occasion of the decoration of the Minister of Commerce His Excellency Mr. Alkache Alhada. The latter congratulated his Excellency Ambassador for this much-deserved distinction thanks to his proactive diplomacy.
Indeed, since his arrival in Niamey, his Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey has been involved with local authorities and the population of Niger in various activities. As pointed out by the director of Waqf Ms. Khadija present at this ceremony, he has all the assets of an Ambassador who represents his country in the best way. She also expressed her gratitude for his promptness and availability whenever her institution called on him.
He is a man who knows how to adapt to the reality of the country where he finds himself. Humble, sociable and courteous, His Excellency Ahmed Ali Sirohey is not only the diplomat you only see with ministers or heads of state, he was always at the side of the population, orphans, and street children. To the latter, His Excellency built a school in Harobanda to recover them and guarantee them a better future.
In addition, he was always at the side of students and young people with whom he maintains a privileged relationship. As evidenced by recent testimonials he has received from students and youth. As an illustration, the testimony of the students of the Islamic University and the International University Mahmoud KAAT, he was also decorated patron of youth by the Leader African cabinet.
The West African Youth Congress at its last summit held in Niamey gave a testimonial to His Excellency Ambassador of Pakistan to Niger for his leadership for the development of West African youth.
It is all these reasons among many others that have pushed the Progress and Humanitarian Development Network in Niger through its President Mr. Garba Illo Almoctar to decorate for the second consecutive year his Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Niger as BEST AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR 2022.
