In 2018, I came to Baku for the first time as an F-1 Esports pilot. I saw Formula 2 cars here and since then the desire to compete in F-2 has not left me. Four years later, I am in Baku again, but this time to compete in the F-2. I live my dream.

The statement came from Cem Bolukbashi, the first Turkish driver to compete in the Formula 2 race in Baku, AZERTAC reports. Bolukbashi’s competition on the Baku track was met with great interest by both local media and Formula fans.

It should be noted that J.Bolukbashi, who started his career in karting, competed on various world-class tracks, and later showed interest in virtual competitions and achieved considerable success in this field. He was ranked fifth in the official Formula 1 Esports in Abu Dhabi in 2017, and second in the Red Bull Toro Rosso team in 2018. Currently, Bolukbashi competes in Formula 2 as a pilot of the Charouz Racing System team.
