72 families are forced to endure hardships in pursuit of justice as they have been deprived of their rightful ownership of lands. For the past 28 years, they have been struggling, knocking on every governmental door but have received no relief except false assurances.

According to the details, the Association of Affectees of Plot Numbers RS-1 to RS-72 (ST-2) Block 10, Federal B Area Scheme 16, Mansoora, Karachi, have been continuously submitting requests for the possession of lands purchased from KDA (Karachi Development Authority) over the past 28 years, facing bureaucratic hurdles.

There isn’t a single governmental institution where the affected parties haven’t submitted their requests. Recently, the General Secretary of the Association, Professor Shariq Iftikhar Uddin, Meeting held in the office of Director Land KDA, Ashfaq Ahmed Mallah, urging their protest to be officially recorded for obtaining possession of the plots.

A written application was also submitted on November 15, 2023. Despite multiple meetings and reminders, this long-standing issue, involving widows, elders, and orphans who are legally entitled to their rights, remains unresolved even after 28 years, depriving them of their lawful, constitutional, and religious rights.

They have been subjected to unjust treatment, and it is urged upon the authorities to promptly resolve this matter.
