Ambassador of Pakistan inaugurated the Chemistry Laboratories of Abdou Mamouni University Niger

On the invitation of Prof. Saley Bisso, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Technology, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey Ambassador of Pakistan visited Abdou Mamouni University Niamey, Republic of Niger. Arriving at University, the Former President Human Rights Commission Niger, the Dean, the Registrar of the University, other faculty members and students very warmly welcomed the Pakistani envoy. Dean Prof. Saley Bisso briefed the Ambassador of Pakistan about the department. The Ambassador of Pakistan visited different campuses of the university and interacted with the students.

The Ambassador of Pakistan presided over the inaugural ceremony of Chemistry Laboratories. He inspected the recently renovated laboratories with the financial assistance of the Government of Pakistan. Pakistan Embassy Niger has proactively provided financial assistance to various Nigerien students as well as educational institutes. While talking to students, he stressed the students prepare themselves to meet future challenges effectively.

He also urged them to make advancements in modern education to take the country on a course of progress. He said that modern knowledge was the key to achieving success in the contemporary world and to achieving a respective position for the country among the comity of nations. The University management including Dean, faculty members & especially students thanked the Ambassador of Pakistan for this generous assistance. They underscored that due to malfunctioning Laboratories they were facing problems in the completion of their project and practical work.

The Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey reiterated the affirmation of historical bonds of fraternity & amity between the peoples of Pakistan & Niger. He assured that Pakistan would keep its support continued for the brotherly people of the Republic of Niger.
