Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman welcomed Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir to the winter camp of Al-Ala on Sunday. According to the state news agency SPA, bilateral relations and opportunities to develop them were reviewed in the meeting. And issues of common concern are also discussed.
On this occasion, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman, Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaad Bin Muhammad Al Aiban were also present.
On behalf of Pakistan, Major General Mohammad Irfan, Pakistani Ambassador Amir Khurram Rathore, Military Attaché at the Pakistani Embassy Brigadier Mohammad Asim participated.
It should be remembered that this is the first foreign visit of General Asim Munir after becoming the Army Chief.
According to Pakistan’s Foreign Office, Army Chief General Asim Munir’s visit to Saudi Arabia promotes relations between the two countries, including the defence sector.
