No, the self-proclaimed ‘documentary’ isn’t coming to Netflix or Amazon. Yes, you’ve been lied to.
”Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth” is a law of propaganda often attributed to one of the biggest propagandists of all time, Joseph Goebbels.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Truer words have never been spoken, especially when it comes to PTI’s propaganda machine.
Behind Closed Doors Is a self-proclaimed ‘short documentary that is still trying to raise funds on GoFundMe in order to be actually able to ‘produce’ it. For now, it’s just a trailer made by an alias ‘Murtaza Mehdi’, who is a big unknown for a ‘producer’, no prior records, no public info, nothing. Complete ghost. Furthermore, of course, turns out to be a firm PTI and Imran Khan supporter.
In reality, it’s nothing more than a clip akin to one produced by a high-school graduate for his/her group project or one that can be made by thousands of freelancers on sites like Fiverr or Upwork for $50 or less.
Among the ‘contributors’, Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry make the cut (of course), further strengthening the thesis that it’s a planted piece of well-thought and planned propaganda.
The trailer of the said documentary is then shared by chief propaganda officer, Shireen Mazari, whilst injecting another lie in her tweet, claiming that it’s going to be on Netflix and Amazon soon, which is obviously false. Netflix already categorically denied any association with this ‘documentary’.
The same fake news is then picked up by a Facebook page called ‘Dekhlo’, which happens to be one of the most vocal PTI’s social media mouthpieces. It’s then further shared by several other PTI-associated social media pages and individual accounts to make it go viral.
Further circulated by known Pro-PTI journos as well as individuals, who time and time again have been caught being biased and spreading lies. These are just 2 examples out of the thousands of accounts at play, including PTI’s bot army. It’s easy to see the sort of engagement this has already garnered and thus this propaganda has been a success story for PTI, regardless of the fact that it’s a completely fabricated story.
Viola, the news has now gone viral and provoked further hatred against the individuals in the video. This is subtle brainwashing of ‘fertile minds’ in Imran Khan’s own words.

It has unfortunately indeed become the ‘truth’. Exhibit Z of how PTI’s propaganda machine functions to spread fake stories, and lies and discredit everyone but themselves via subtle brainwashing on a frequent basis.
