Pak Turk Joint Military Exercises

Special forces of the Turkish and Pakistani armies are conducting ongoing major joint forces special operations exercises Jinnah 2022, lasting for three weeks. Special forces engaged in mountain commando combat operations training in severe cold conditions as well as urban area close combat training, room clearance and corridor advancement techniques among other training regimes.
The purpose of the exercise is to develop mutual cooperation and interoperability between the elements of the Pakistani and Turkish Armed Forces.
The exercises have been held annually since 1998, alternately in Pakistan and Turkey. They are called ATATURK exercises when in Pakistan and JINNAH exercises in Turkey.
