Sakinan-e-Sheher e Quaid Mushaira.

Karachi is a meeting of poets today and all the famous poets are present here. Instead of talking, I want to talk in favour of some poetry. These views were expressed by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri while speaking at the 28th International Mushaira organized by Sakinan Shahr Quaid held at Expo Center Karachi.

The tradition of mushairas is as old as the Urdu language. During the time of the Mughal emperors, Bazm was held in the presence of taste. And nurtured and Urdu was promoted through ghazal, poetry, qasida and literary events. I think that Urdu is a language that feels special to speak and understand.

It is Urdu that is the official language of Pakistan, the Urdu language has connected Pakistan and today our poets have kept it alive. It has happened. Today there is a law and order situation in the city of Karachi, despite the large number of people who are present here today and the way they are sitting to listen to these poets, I think that this is actually Karachi and Karachi.

They are the people who listen dearly to everyone. I think they deserve praise for reviving Karachi in every situation. The administrator of Saknan Shahr Quaid, Chief Mahmood Ahmad Khan said that Syed Safwanullah, Azhar Abbas Hashmi, the plant of Saknan Shahr Quaid. Dr. Pirzad Qasim Siddiqui and others started it 3 decades ago, which we are now carrying on with.

In this mushaira, all the eloquent people of Karachi come, including Governor Sindh Kamran Tesuri, Administrator Karachi Dr. Saifur Rahman, and Commissioner Karachi Iqbal Memon. I am grateful to those who supported us in organizing this event.
