by: TN Media News: A significant partnership has been forged between a leading Saudi investor group in the IT and technology sector and SuperNova Solutions, a major Pakistani enterprise resource planning and business solutions provider. The Pakistani firm announced this collaboration on Monday, stating that the agreement was made on the sidelines of the LEAP tech convention in Riyadh from March 4-7.
Ahmed Farooq, Pakistan’s ambassador in Saudi Arabia, welcomed the partnership, describing it as a pivotal investment in Pakistan’s IT industry and SuperNova Solutions. Farooq expressed his gratitude to Khaled Saad Al-Sabti, a key Saudi investor in IT & tech sectors, for his investment in Pakistan’s IT sector, stating that it would attract renewed attention from global investors.
The equity partnership between SuperNova Solutions and the group of influential Saudi investors was signed during the inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion at LEAP 2024. Rashid Hakeem, SuperNova’s Pakistan chief executive, emphasized that this investment would enhance Pakistan’s competitiveness, digital transformation, and ERP implementation competencies, services, and exports.
Saudi based investor Muhammad Ghazali highlighted the strategic importance of the move, noting that SuperNova would become a significant part of the Saudi group’s investment portfolio. Ghazali emphasized Saudi Arabia’s progress toward its Vision 2030 goals, stating that digital transformation has become a key enabler, revolutionizing industries, government services, and societal interactions.
He expressed confidence that the partnership would help businesses harness the power of ERP solutions to achieve their strategic objectives.
