On 21st November 2022, a meeting was held between the Senior Management of PRCCSF and Ms. Bao Zhong, Counselor of the Political and Media Section, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan.
During the meeting at the Embassy of China to Pakistan, Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, PRCCSF proposed various projects of joint research. Both parties discussed extending future cooperation on Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) and building an understanding of economic/industrial research.
Ms. Bao Zhong, Counselor of the Political and Media Section, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan appreciated the role of PRCCSF in building people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and China and working on BRI. She also affirmed her support in conducting economic and industrial research, especially related to BRI/CPEC project. It was discussed that conferences, workshops, and events will be organized for national and international experts to create a profound understanding of BRI and its economic benefits.
A report on the 20th National Congress of the CPC party was also brought into the discussion. The information holds much significance as it shed light on the next five-year plan of China and the CPC for more excellent development and progress in every field. It was agreed that both sides would work on initiatives for regional cooperation and BRI proposed in the 20th National congress of CPC. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Maryam Raza, Deputy Director, PRCCSF and diplomatic staff of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan.
