Minister Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi Engages with Thatta Community, Inaugurates Filtration Plant at Civil Hospital Makli

Karachi (Report): The Minister for Auqaf, Religious Affairs, Zakat, and Ushr, Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, spent a busy Saturday interacting with the people of Thatta and meeting with distinguished personalities.

The day began with a visit to Haji Muhammad Hanif Memon Shirazi at “Thatta House” on Saturday morning. During this visit, the Minister engaged with local residents and listened attentively to their concerns. In response, he directed relevant officers and staff to cooperate fully and take necessary steps to resolve the public’s issues.

Following this, Minister Shirazi, accompanied by the Chairman of the Municipal Committee Thatta, visited the Civil Hospital Makli. There, he inaugurated a filtration plant provided by the social organization “Live To Give.” He also met with doctors and hospital administrators to review the facility’s operations and visited patients, urging medical staff to ensure the highest quality of care.

In the afternoon, the Minister, joined by Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Shirazi and DFO Syed Madad Ali Shah Kazmi, visited Sardar Haji Umar Khan Lashari’s village. They offered condolences to Chief Mashooq Lashari on his mother’s passing and to Sardar Murtaza Lashari on his mother-in-law’s death. The visit was attended by President Nawaz Lashari, Mansoor Qadir Lashari, and other notable members of the Lashari community.

Later in the day, Minister Shirazi attended a reception hosted by Haji Muhammad Khaskheli and Abdul Qadir Khaskheli, alongside Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Shirazi and DFO Syed Madad Ali Shah Kazmi.

The Minister’s visit highlighted his commitment to addressing local concerns and supporting community welfare initiatives.
