Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Team Announces 20-Member Squad for Training Camp Ahead of Champions Trophy 2025.

Karachi (Sports Reporter):  Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA) President Imran Balwani has officially announced the 20-member squad for the national team’s training camp, which will begin from January 3 at the RLCA Ground, Gulberg, Karachi. The camp is in preparation for the upcoming Physical Disability Champions Trophy to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from January 12 to January 21, 2025.

Teams from Pakistan, England, India and host country Sri Lanka will participate in the 4-team tournament. During the camp, the players will undergo various training sessions including bowling, batting, fielding and physical fitness drills under the guidance of head coach Sabih Azhar.

The 20-player squad includes:
– Openers: Matloob Qureshi, Huzaifa Khan, Muhammad Noman, Muhammad Zaman
– Middle Order: Shahid Wattoo, Hamza Hameed, Muhammad Shahzad, Ghulam Muhammad
– Wicket Keepers: Saifullah, Muhammad Arsalan
– Fast Bowlers: Zubair Saleem, Abdul Khaliq, Abdullah Ijaz, Mominullah, Hammad Shaukat, Anas Ismail, Farhan Saeed
– Spinners: Waqf Shah, Abdul Basit, Asif Kachhi.

The final squad will be announced at the end of the camp. The team will leave Karachi for Colombo on January 9, ahead of their first match against arch-rivals India.
