Stinking: Skunks are rejoicing that there is another creature that stinks more than them. Holy Cows have defecated.

Skunks are rejoicing that there is another creature that stinks more than them. Holy Cows have defecated.

True to their past, the judges have given a precedented decision. History is on their side. Nawaz Sharif’s government was sacked by Ishaq Khan. The Supreme Court decided in his favour despite strong evidence. Benazir government was sacked by Farooq Leghari. Their case was based on exactly the same grounds as of Nawaz Sharif. Supreme Court threw the case out. The judges had the reasons to support their judgment.

Judge Qayyum proved his loyalty to Shahbaz Sharif and his elder brother Nawaz Sharif by punishing Baynazir. Shameless is a milder word.

Nawaz Sharif was once again let off mildly by punishing him on Aqama only. He roamed around practically abusing the judges. His daughter was caught red-handed by producing a fraud affidavit but was let off by giving a verbal warning only. Why? She was convicted in some other case but is roaming out and screaming foul against everyone she likes. She was granted bail on the grounds of serving her father. The convicted father was permitted to go out of the country on fraudulent medical reports by the judges. Father and daughter are enjoying and relishing their fame.

These are the same judges who set another precedence by reviewing their own judgment in favour of their colleague Faez Isa by exonerating him and his big-mouthed wife. These so-called champions of law did not bother to ask him as to why and in which capacity he with his wife went to see a lowly character Asad Toor in his flat. Was that an official duty of a sitting judge or what relation does Faez Isa has with him? He writes a letter to the CJP and the same letter is handed over to the media. Is it lawful? Who would check it? I am sure no one. It needs guts and grit.

For the first time in the history of the Supreme Court, the court is convened on Sunday and that on a suo moto. There is no difference in the actions taken by Lahore High Court, Sindh High Court and the Supreme Court. Islamabad High Court is no different either. Judges are working on their personal whims. Commoners are booted out whereas the so-called elite is treated like demigods.

Once again the Supreme Court has gone out of its jurisdiction. The pony tailed lawyer of PPP is on record saying that Article 69 bars the court to intervene in the proceedings of the parliament. He appears before the court and speaks contrary to his previous stance. The court sets another precedence by calling Shahbaz Sharif and Bilawal Zardari asking them about their wish. They willfully ignore to call Imran Khan.

The President of Pakistan sent a reference on Article 63 A. Supreme Court is sitting mum on it. Is it by design or malice to put aside such an important reference? In case of a decision, the greedy dogs of political parties would have been weeded out. Is not the court accomplice to this wrong doing?

The court, let me say the judges, refused to see the evidence of foreign interference and ingressed the article of the constitution which categorically bars them. Is there some connivance somewhere?

It all stinks. The skunks are rightfully rejoicing.
