RIYADH: Pakistan’s largest banking institution Habib Bank Limited, in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan, organized a series of awareness and interest events regarding RDA Drive in the Chancery Hall of the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, the capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, here.
A large number of Pakistan business community gathered and showed their interest in the event and got the first-hand information about Roshan Digital Account.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
Speaking on the occasion, special guest Ambassador of Pakistan Amir Khurram Rathore said that the initiatives taken by Habib Bank for overseas Pakistanis would provide excellent investment opportunities to the community in Saudi Arabia. “You will be able to pass on your earnings to your loved ones legally and efficiently, ” the ambassador said vehemently.
Ambassador Rathore said: “Overseas Pakistanis should take full advantage of this initiative of Habib Bank and play their full role in the economic development of Pakistan, ” and added: “Through Roshan Digital Account, banking payment and investment activities in Pakistan have been facilitated so that the overseas community can benefit from Roshan Digital Account facilities. ”
Syed Mohsin Ali Shah, Head Retail Products, Habib Bank, also spoke to the audience, said: ” Roshan Digital Account has facilitated banking and investment activities in Pakistan through Roshan Digital Account so that the overseas community can have all the benefits from Roshan Digital Account facilities offered by the government of Pakistan.”
Shazia Gul, Head Woman Market Program & Roshan Digital Account, while highlighting important points in this regard, provided information on Roshan Apna; Ghar Roshan; Own cars and other relevant products and shared basic facts about the features of RDA Initiative as well as the best investment opportunities in Pakistan.
Other speakers including Mohammad Kamran Siddiqui, Kiran Sardar Kohati, and Umm Rabab Farhan Ali Abid Khan also briefed the audience on the benefits of the Roshan Digital Account.
The event ended with a Q&A session with the audience.
Participants of the event expressed their gratitude and hoped that Habib Bank would, in future, continue to conduct such awareness programs for the community abroad so that more Pakistanis could benefit from this facility.
