Huawei Cloud Launches AI-Ready Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia to Propel Vision 2030.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia — Huawei Cloud has introduced advanced AI-ready infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant step toward accelerating the Kingdom’s digital transformation in line with Vision 2030. At the Huawei Cloud Summit Saudi Arabia 2024, the company announced several initiatives to bolster Saudi Arabia’s digital ecosystem, including the launch of its Arabic large language model (LLM), supporting over 20 AI applications.

Steven Yi, President for the Middle East and Central Asia at Huawei, emphasized the company’s long-term commitment to the region, highlighting its role in enhancing government services and fostering a thriving local ecosystem. Huawei Cloud’s public cloud business in Saudi Arabia has seen a tenfold revenue increase over the past year, reflecting its growing influence in the market.

The initiatives also include the development of over 100 local partners and training more than 3,000 university students, underscoring Huawei Cloud’s dedication to building local talent and supporting economic diversification efforts. With AI-driven solutions now enhancing various sectors such as government, retail, and finance, Huawei Cloud is poised to play a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s journey towards becoming a leading digital economy.
