Saudi Arabia’s Largest Security and Safety Platform

Intersec Saudi Arabia is the Kingdom’s leading platform for security, safety, and fire protection innovation, bringing together global experts, government leaders, and industry pioneers.

This year’s event showcases over 380 exhibitors from 36 countries, underscoring the growing importance of the Kingdom in driving international collaboration across critical safety and security industries.

Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Interior, and in association with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Intersec Saudi Arabia continues to play a vital role in shaping future resilience.

Conferences Driving Future Security and Fire Protection

Running alongside the exhibition are two flagship conferences:

  • The Fire Protection and Technology Summit
  • The Future Security Summit, powered by ASIS International – Dhahran Chapter

The Fire Protection Summit opened with a keynote by Saudi Civil Defense, setting the tone for discussions on global fire safety challenges.

International speakers contributed valuable insights. For example, Matt Sutcliffe, Assistant Chief Fire Officer at Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, addressed the importance of adapting fire protection to AI advancements. Similarly, Phil Garrigan, Chair of the UK’s National Fire Chiefs Council, emphasized cross-agency collaboration during emergencies.

AI and the Future of Security

Artificial Intelligence (AI) took center stage at the Future Security Summit. Bader W. Alkhaldi, Director of Cybersecurity Protection at Aramco, highlighted the importance of building a resilient AI ecosystem.

Justin Vaughan, Director of Public Safety Technology at PwC Middle East, discussed next-generation border and maritime command centers, showcasing how AI, advanced sensors, and autonomous systems are transforming border protection and emergency resilience.

“These summits bring together leading voices from across the world to exchange knowledge and address pressing challenges. From AI-driven innovation to cross-sector collaboration, the discussions reflect both Saudi Arabia’s priorities and the global momentum toward safer and more resilient communities.”

Tomorrow’s programme will feature a collaboration with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), delivering in-depth sessions on electric vehicle fire risks, lithium-ion battery safety, fire code compliance, and emergency response strategies.
