Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024 Breaks Records with Over 23,000 Attendees
Record Attendance at Leading Safety and Security Event
Intersec Saudi Arabia 2024, the Kingdom’s top trade fair for safety, security, and fire protection, concluded on October 3. The event attracted over 23,000 industry professionals. This figure marks a 38% increase compared to last year and sets a new attendance record.
Expanded Exhibition Space Meets Growing Demand
The event took place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). Organizers expanded the exhibition space by 34% due to high demand. They also added a dedicated outdoor area. In total, five halls featured exhibitors covering commercial security, perimeter defense, homeland security, cybersecurity, and fire safety. Hall 5, known as Intersec Saudi Arabia Infinity, highlighted security, safety, and fire protection technologies.
Official Opening and Keynote Speeches
H.E. Aali M. Al Zahrani, Governor of the Higher Commission for Industrial Security, officially opened the event. Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj from Saudi Civil Defense also attended and gave the keynote at the Fire Protection and Technology Summit. He stressed the importance of using advanced technologies and awareness programs to keep citizens safe.
Strong Government and Industry Participation
More than 30 delegations attended, including the Vision Realization Office, Saudi Red Crescent, King Fahad Security College, and the Joint Forces Command. Their presence showed strong support from key government and emergency organizations.
Insightful Sessions at Security and Fire Summits
The Future Security and Safety Summit hosted nearly 60 experts. They discussed global threats, crisis response, AI in security, infrastructure protection, and diversity in the security sector. Eng. Ibrahim bin Abdul Qader Al Abu Issa gave the opening keynote.
At the Fire Protection and Technology Summit, over 40 regional fire and emergency leaders gathered. They shared knowledge on challenges, standards, policies, and new technologies to improve fire safety and emergency response.
