In the Saudi port city of Jeddah, a grand dinner honored visiting Pakistani journalists from Shahkot. They had recently completed the spiritual journey of Umrah. The event was hosted by businessman and social personality Mian Tariq Abdul Majeed Arain.
Distinguished Guests and Warm Welcome
The dinner brought together notable figures from the Pakistani community. Attendees included former Federal Minister Chaudhry Shehbaz Ahmed, former Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Azhar Abbas Warraich, and PML-N Saudi Arabia Chairman Chaudhry Akram Gujjar.
Members of the Yaran-e-Jeddah group and officials of the Pakistan Media Journalists Forum were also present. Mian Tariq Abdul Majeed Arain welcomed everyone warmly. He congratulated the journalists on their Umrah and praised their contributions to journalism and community service.
Unity and Community Spirit
Speaking at the gathering, Chaudhry Akram Gujjar praised the unity of overseas Pakistanis. He extended best wishes to the visiting delegation.
Farhan Arshad Bhatti expressed gratitude to the host. He said such events create happiness and a strong sense of belonging. In addition, he emphasized that overseas Pakistanis play a vital role in Pakistan’s economy.
Special Prayer for Pakistan
The evening ended with a heartfelt prayer. Sahibzada Ali Raza, custodian of the Nolakha Hazari shrine, prayed for Pakistan’s peace, unity, and development.
