Exciting action continued at Abbasi Gymkhana Ground as part of the Zakir Babu and Arshad Munim Memorial Floodlight T20 League, with two back-to-back matches held under the lights.
Jinnah Sports claimed a strong 7-wicket win over Tara Sports, while New Zamzam CC defeated Al-Akhwan CC by 5 wickets. Both matches are part of the buildup to the upcoming Khatri Premier League Season 3.

Jinnah Sports Secure Semi-Final Spot:

Jinnah Sports extended their unbeaten streak with their fifth consecutive win, confirming a place in the semi-finals.
Batting first, Tara Sports managed 131/9 in 20 overs.
Ayub Khatri scored 25 runs, while Raseeid Tara remained not out on 21.
The bowling attack was led by Naeem Jobat, who took 4 wickets, and Mohammad Rabi, who claimed 2 wickets.

In response, Jinnah Sports chased the target with just one ball remaining.
Captain Owais Wada led from the front, scoring 49 off 42 balls.
Farooq Khatri supported well with 38 runs, ensuring a successful chase and another win for the team.

New Zamzam CC Outclass Al-Akhwan CC:

In the second match, Al-Akhwan CC struggled with the bat and were restricted to 100 all out.
Zafar Khatri and Shaan Zeeshan both took 4 wickets each in a dominant bowling display.
Shoaib Sonija added 2 wickets and later guided the chase with an unbeaten 32 off 26 balls.

Despite a fighting 30-run effort by Owais Jamali, Al-Akhwan CC couldn’t recover from early setbacks.
Chasing a modest target of 101, New Zamzam CC reached the mark by the 16th over, thanks to an aggressive 27-run knock by Asad Shoubi.
Kamran Khatri picked up 2 wickets for Al-Akhwan, but it wasn’t enough to stop New Zamzam’s momentum.

Chief guest Rizwan Wada, a respected member of the Khatri community and tournament organizer, presented Man of the Match awards. Naeem Jobat and Zafar Khatri were honored for their match-winning performances, each receiving a cash prize of Rs. 1,000.
