Karachi to Host Seminar in Memory of Renowned Scholar Siraj-ul-Haq Memon on 12th Death Anniversary

Karachi, Pakistan — In commemoration of the 12th death anniversary of the distinguished scholar, writer, and journalist Siraj-ul-Haq Memon, a memorable seminar titled “Dhap aur Daad ki Laat” will be held on February 1, 2025, at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. The event is organized by the Siraj Institute of Sindh Studies, Indigenous Women’s Forum, Endowment Fund Trust, and the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi.

The seminar, which will begin at 3:30 PM, promises to be a vibrant cultural and intellectual gathering. It will feature several insightful sessions covering topics such as education, Sindhi literature, language, and culture. Esteemed personalities from various fields, including Dr. Fahmida Hussain, Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon, Arshad Siraj Memon, Noor-ul-Huda Shah, Anisa Memon, Ayaz Latif Palijo, Naveed Siraj, Ghazal Siddiq, Waheeda Mehesar, Taj Joyo, Yasra Akhund, Dr. Sabreen Hasbani, and Romasa Jami Chandio, will participate and share their perspectives.

In addition to the academic discussions, the event will also feature book launches, dance performances, and music, adding an artistic touch to the seminar.
