GOVERNOR OF SINDH KAMRAN TESSORI Will BE EXPECTED TO INAUGURATE THE EVENT.
Karachi: (Sports Reporter) The inauguration of Khatri Premier League Flood Light T20 Cricket Tournament Season-2, 2023 organized by the Muslim Khatri community will take place tomorrow 19th of August on Saturday at 10 pm at Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium North Nazimabad Karachi.
SJAS Media Eleven will face Pakistan Showbiz Eleven at 10:30 pm in the opening match. According tot tournament secretary Muhammad Sadiq Khatri Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori will be expected to the chief guest at the colorful opening ceremony and after the national anthem of Pakistan will inaugurate Khatri League Season 2, also unveiled the Khatri Premier League season 2 Trophy.
President Muslim Khatri Association Liaquat Kheri, General Secretary of Muslim Kheri, Association Nisar Nawab, General Secretary of Muslim Katriri Anjuman Muhammad Ayoub besides Founder cricket in Khatri Community Abdul Karim Niazi, Tournament Committee Chief Executive Irfan Zehri, Hanif Zerwala Tournament Secretary Sadiq Khatri, , Shahid Tao, and others. Guests will also attend the official ceremony.
League matches of the event will start from Sunday 20th of Aug at 10: pm with a match between the defending teams Sonija Soilder and Runner- up Mando Markhor.
In this season- 2 new franchise Tangar Stars will take part now 8 franchise teams from the Muslim Khatri community are participating in the Khatri Premier League2, which will feature competitions based on a single league.
Each team will be allowed to include three international/ first class or grade 2 local players. The 8 teams in the league that have been taken by the franchise honors are as follows. (Hanif Saghar), Dhara Dabang, (Yosuf Curi), Bheda Tigers, (Abdul Rashid Ali Jee), Mando Markhor, Yaseen Muneem), Soneja Soldier, (Naeem Thattavi), Dawar Gladiators and (Ghaffar Dowana), Bachara Warriors. Tanger Stars (Usman Tara) and Rakhiya Fighters(Muhammad Ismail Ammi Baba) All matches of the tournament will be shown live on the Khatri Premier League Facebook page and YouTube channel.
