Pakistan’s young fast bowler, Naseem Shah, has concluded his rehabilitation journey after undergoing shoulder surgery several months ago, as revealed in his recent Instagram update.
In his social media post, the 20-year-old expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for organizing and overseeing his rehabilitation process in England.
“Today, I have completed my rehab in England. I am very thankful to the PCB for organizing all this,” Naseem mentioned, acknowledging the crucial role played by the cricket board in facilitating his recovery.
Further extending appreciation to his medical team, which included Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed and physios George Earl and Adam Wright in England, Naseem acknowledged their dedicated care throughout his rehabilitation.
“Special thanks to my medical team Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, Physios George Earl, and Adam Wright here in England, for all their care,” he added in his post.
Naseem Shah had suffered a shoulder injury during the Asia Cup, leading to his absence from the tournament and his subsequent unfortunate exclusion from the 2023 World Cup. Opting for surgery in England, he successfully completed his recovery there. His absence had a notable impact on Pakistan’s bowling lineup during the World Cup, contributing to the team’s challenges in the tournament.
