Pakistan Writers Club Riyadh Celebrates 77th Independence Day with Enthusiastic Community Event.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Pakistan Writers Club Riyadh and Ladies Chapter (PWC-LC) hosted a vibrant celebration of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day at a local hotel in Riyadh. The event saw strong participation from community members, including women and children.

Presided over by Club President Engineer Naveed ur Rahman, the occasion featured Syed Musrat Khalil, a senior journalist from Jeddah, as the chief guest. In his speech, Khalil urged attendees to cherish freedom and pledged to safeguard Pakistan’s independence.

Dr. Farah Nadia outlined the club’s goals and encouraged youth involvement by inviting school students to share their views on independence. National songs by children added to the patriotic atmosphere.

Women community leaders, including Balqis Safdar, Maimoona Murtaza, Yasmeen Zaheer, Shahnaz Qureshi, Eram Amir, Areba Asim, and Sajida Chaudhary, expressed deep love for Pakistan.

Vice President Zubair Bhatti and journalist Naveed ur Rehman Raja also congratulated the nation and honored the Pakistan Army.

The event concluded with a commitment by President Naveed ur Rahman to continue organizing national celebrations for the youth. The program was moderated by Waleed Ijaz Tahir Awan and began with a Quranic recitation by Osama.
