PM Shahbaz Sharif arrives Jeddah and met with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and left for Makkah to perform Umrah.

Jeddah-Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Jeddah on the second day of his three days visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Governor Makkah Khalid bin Faisal Al Saud and Saudi national security adviser Dr. Mussaid bin Mohammed Aleiban received Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his delegation at the Royal terminal of King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) Jeddah.

During his stay in Madinah, the Prime Minister visited the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) twice a day, performed Nawafil in Riyadh al-Jannat, offered the Friday Farewell Prayer in the Prophet’s Mosque, and asked for prayers for the country’s security, development and social prosperity.

In Jeddah, the Prime Minister had an important meeting with Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, in which besides enhancing the economy, promoting investment and trade ties between the two countries. Talks were held to create more opportunities for employment for Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia.

Federal Ministers Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Muftah Ismail, Nobzada Shahzeen Bugti, Maryam Aurangzeb, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Mohsin Dawar and Maulana Tahir Ashrafi were also present in the delegation along with the Prime Minister.
This is the Prime Minister’s first foreign trip since taking over as Prime Minister.
